Explanation of Events

Sign in and Center Time Parents will drop off kids at our check-in center. We will give every child a name-tag with a corresponding number to ensure kids go home with whom they’re supposed to. Kids interact with each-other with various activities (coloring books, board games etc. until kids church starts.)

Welcome and Worship Time Kids will all meet together to worship and praise our Lord with music.

Lesson time Pastor Jeremy will teach a “kids church” lesson to all the kids.

Snack time/2nd Check in Kids need a break and they love to eat. Parents who dropped off their kids before the Sunday School hour will not need to check in their kids again.

Discipleship/Small Group time We will group the kids together by age for small group discussion where we can reinforce the lesson in terms the kids really understand.

Game Time Play time is another valuable tool in reinforcing the lesson. Kids learn by acting out, moving, and by manipulating things with their hands

Object Lesson This is an opportunity for me to show the kids a real-life application to what their lesson is about. It can be easy to teach kids that they’re supposed to do things a certain way because "when they grow up they’ll understand."  Instead, we will use this teaching tool to show kids why what they are learning applies to them today in this modern world.

We can always use voluteers to make this work smoothly.  If you are willing to be a part of the most important education your kids will receive, e-mail me at jeremyhudson@safnaz.org and we’ll get you in the rotation. If you’re just curious about how it’s all going to work, don’t hesitate to accompany your child.
