Living With Confidence
Teacher: Liza Jensen

We know that we are living in the last days. Our world seems to be filled with chaos. So what do we do? Dr. David Jeremiah has identified ten aspects to live confidently in a world of uncertainty, and honoring Christ through it all. Examples of the principles to practice are: stay centered on Christ, stay confident in the Word, stay compassionate toward others, and stay connected to the church. Living With Confidence in a Chaotic World is your personal guidebook to overcome the challenges in our world with confidence and faith.

Time: 9:30am
Place: Room 214

Dr. Emerson Eggerichs' book, Love & Respect: The Love She Most Desires, the Respect He Desperately Needs, is based on the biblical passage from Ephesians 5:33. Love & Respect offers much-needed help to husbands and wives by exploring the biblical teachings on unconditional respect, which is as powerful as unconditional love. Parenting with Love and Logic
Teacher: Lois Van Slyke
Ages: Adult
Time: 9:30am

This parenting course teaches parents how to hold their kids accountable in a special way. This Love and Logic method causes the child to see their parents as the “good guy” and the child’s poor decision as the “bad guy.” When done on a regular basis, kids develop an internal voice that says, “I wonder how much pain I’m going to cause for myself with my next decision?” Kids who develop this internal voice become more capable of standing up to peer pressure.
