Buckeye by birth and Texan by choice is his motto. Matt grew up in a small factory town in Southern Ohio called Ironton. He received his BA in Business and Economics from Mount Vernon Nazarene University in 1990. Shortly afterward, Matt married his dream girl to whom he has been happily married for the past 17 years. After working for Ashland Oil Company as an Area Supervisor he felt God tugging at his heart towards full-time ministry. Matt graduated with his MDIV from Nazarene Theological Seminary in 1994 and immediately moved to Dallas, Texas where he served 8 years as Youth Pastor. He has served as Senior Pastor of SAF since 2002.
Matt and Kim have three boys ages 12 (Drew), 9 (Connor), 8 (Chase) and one girl age 6(Abby). An interesting point his children love to point out is that they are all Texans. His hobbies include ranching, anything his kids are involved in and sports.

Rev. Nick Kiriluk
Associate Pastor - nkiriluk@aol.comNick is a former Resident of New Castle, PA. He left New Castle in 1948 to join the Air Force, and retired from the USAF in 1971. He is married to Faye Dean with whom he had four children. Their daughter and two grandchildren live here in San Antonio. Nick has a bachelor's degree from Northeastern State University in Oklahoma, and an associates degree from Nazarene Bible College. He was in full time Christian ministry from 1971-2000, and now is serving as Associate pastor here at First Church. A few of his hobbies are golf, fishing, and spending lots of time trying to solve SUDOKU puzzles.

Rick grew up in Dallas, TX. As a young man he felt a passion for seeing God's transforming work in the lives of people. Thus, Rick attended and graduated from Southern Nazarene University in Bethany, OK in 2005 with a B.A. in Theology and Ministry. It was while at SNU that he met his beautiful and wonderful wife Melissa. After graduation from SNU, Rick and Melissa moved north to Kansas City, MO to attend Nazarene Theological Seminary. Rick graduated from NTS in 2008 with a M.A. degree in Intercultural Studies. He enjoys nearly anything outdoors, reading, and being among friends and family.

Aaron Roehm Music Minister - aaronroehm@safnaz.orgAaron was born in Denver, CO, and grew up in different cities in Colorado, Oklahoma, and Texas. He attended Southern Nazarene University where he met his lovely wife, Erin. He graduated in 2005 and has been with SAFNAZ since July of that year. Aaron and Erin have an adoreable toddler named Caleb and a baby boy named Micah. Some of Aaron's favorite hobbies are playing disc golf, singing, playing guitar, and reading with his wife. He feels very blessed not only to be a part of this wonderful church family, but also to get the chance to lead them in worship to the One True God week after week.

Rev. Dick Agee leads our Discipleship Training and prayer campaigns. He has been part of San Antonio First since July 1999. Dick came to San Antonio through the US Army where he served for thirty years in the Medical Department in various assignments. He was ordained in 1991 while in North Carolina. Dick serves here with his wife Carole. His daughter and her husband, Nathon and LeeAnn Laws are also active members of our church with their son Jonathon. Dick and Carole's son, Matthew and his wife, Ashley are active in their church in Oklahoma City.

Kimberly Umbaugh
Kimberly was born in Plainview, TX and grew up in Indiana, Kentucky and California. While living in California she met and married her wonderful husband, Eddie. Kimberly was very blessed when she got married two years ago. She not only gained a wonderful husband but also a beautiful daughter, Angel, who is now four years old. Kimberly and Eddie have recently been blessed with their beautiful baby boy, Lucas, who is six months old. Kimberly loves to sing and play the saxophone. She also enjoys spending time with her kids and hanging out with friends and family.
